CMD Extreme Pressure Anti-Scoring Lubricants withstand  extreme pressures — take high heats!

CMD anti-scoring lubricants are not ordinary lubricants.  They are compounded of highly refined petroleum products containing no lead, graphite or minerals.  They will not corrode the finest surfaces nor will they mulsify with cooling liquids.  But these facts are not the most remarkable feature of CMD lubricants.  The truly outstanding property of CMD is its ability to withstand extreme pressures!  The thousands of firms who have used CMD have discovered that commonly used lubricants will provide a lubricating film at pressures of 500, 1000, 5000 and even 10,000 psi.  By contrast, CMD EXTREME PRESSURE lubricants are regularly used from 40,000 to 50,000 psi.

BROACHING - The life of broaching may be greatly lengthened through the applications of CMD Lubricants.  the illustration of the test pin shows that they will not allow metal-to-metal contact. This feature, plus its ability to penetrate and adhere to work pieces affords continued protection even under severe loads.

EXTRUDING - SWAGING -CMD Anti-Scoring Lubricants have proven extremely successful in many unusual extruding and swaging operations, such as swaging of tubes in airplane engine oil heat exchangers.

DIE SET POSTS - Use CMD Anti-Scoring Lubricants on die posts and bushings for extended use of these vital parts.  Greater lubrication protection is obtained than that afford by commonly used lubricants.

CAMS - Cams exert severe pressures.  The illustration of the test pins show why CMD Anti-Scoring Lubricants protect this type of movement.  Wear on these important parts will be much less when you use this lubricants to prevent metal-to-metal contact.
